The Macromolecular Science and Engineering Program requires either a B.S. or B.A. in science or engineering with at least a 3.3 grade point average (on a 4 point scale). Students with bachelor's degrees in chemical or materials engineering, chemistry, or physics will find it possible to continue easily with their major field within the Program; others may have to make up deficiencies early in their studies.
